The Continuing Education Cell (CEC) is the centre to provide Continuing Education for the community outside College of Engineering Vadakara. The CEC has initiated a wide range of activities by utilizing the resources of faculty as well as facilities available at the Institute for meeting the objectives of continuing education. These activities are suitably structured to meet the requirements of different target groups, ranging from high school science teachers to research scientists/engineers.

CEC coordinates the various continuing education programmes with the concerned departments and sponsoring agencies, and provides necessary assistance and infrastructure support to faculty members organizing the programmes.Apart from these Continuing Education Cell conducting various competitive exams like GATE, UCEED, IBPS, CAT etc.

One day Workshop on ‘Strategic Planning for Sustainable Development’ on 8^th November 2016. 31 participants from various engineering colleges had attended the workshop. Dr. Anandakuttan B. Unnithan, Professor, Indian Institute of Management, Kozhikode was the resource person.
